LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY

Introduce your child to the exciting world of hockey with our Learn to Play Hockey program! Designed specifically for young players, this program focuses on teaching fundamental skills suchs skating, stickhandling, and shooting in a fun and supportive environment. Led by experienced coaches, your child will develop their hockey abilities while building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to ignite your child's passion for hockey!

USA Hockey registration and full hockey gear are REQUIRED for Learn to Play before stepping on the ice.

6U CROSS ICE PROGRAM

Our Biggby Home Grown Hockey program offers skill development and cross-ice game play using the ADM for practices. With two practices per week, the 6U program is a great stepping stone before moving on to 8U hockey and jamborees.

6U & 8U CROSS ICE PROGRAM

Our Biggby Home Grown Hockey program offers skill development and cross-ice game play using the ADM for practices. With two practices per week and a few "Jamborees" sprinkled in during the season, the 8U program keeps our 7 and 8 year old hockey players learning and developing all while having fun on the ice and improving their skills throughout the season. Our Jamborees usually involve 8U programs from other associations visiting our rink for a fun filled afternoon of cross ice hockey. 8U also offers a team within the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League that also plays "away" games against other teams. This team will hold a few separate practices from the 8U program as well as travel to Little Caesars Arena for a game or two.All of our 8U programs skate at the Cube as their home ice.

RECREATIONAL / HOUSE PROGRAM

House "B" Hockey  (Tier 3) The Biggby Coffee Hockey Club house program participates in the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League for the regular fall/winter hockey season. Our house Tier 3 Girl's teams participate in the Michigan Girls Hockey League. Don't let the "house" name fool you, these teams do travel a bit during the season to play in "away" games! (Typically not more than an hour from our home ice).Our House B teams get to experience Ann Arbor Ice Cube and Yost Ice Arena as their "home ice" for games and practices. House B teams typically skate 1 or 2 weeknights plus a weekend skate during the Fall/Winter season. House teams usually participate in one or two Michigan based tournaments. Goalie coaching is provided as well as skills skates and awesome jerseys for our House B players.Our house teams have access to the Skating Treadmill and Advantage Sports for off ice workouts right inside our building.

TIER 2 TRAVEL PROGRAM

Travel "A & AA" Hockey (Tier 2) The Biggby-Ann Arbor teams participate in the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League for the regular season. T2 Girls participate in the Michigan Girls Hockey League. Tryouts for our travel teams are required and teams are chosen by Biggby coaching staff.Travel teams will "travel" a bit further for game play and have more ice time for practices/games and development than our House level teams.Travel teams will attend 2 or more overnight hockey tournaments throughout the season. Travel teams have assigned skills coaches for each team and team specific development coaches.
