Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate

Learn to skate classes are run through the Arctic Coliseum, but are taught by our CFSC coaches.

Our classes are designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning the fundamentals of figure skating from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. We offer a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner skater, teaching correct technique of the basic elements of skating while developing coordination and balance.

National Showcase Program

This program will look to combine the technical skills of skating with a greater emphasis on the theatrical side of the performance. Skaters can compete individually, in a duet or trio, and part of the team. We go annually to the National Showcase Championships, and are home to multiple National champions. Several skaters have already qualified for the 2024 National Showcase Championships, and look forward to competing for National Titles in August in San Jose!
